    The "three stage" torque link provides adjustable progressive action for ultimate torque control and traction. Torque is absorbed by the coil spring to provide the initial forward bite. As engine torque increases, the poly bushings engage to increase torque to the rear tires. Engagement point of the poly bushings can be adjusted independently from the coil spring to allow for changing track conditions. 

    Due to its unique twin shaft design the engine side and brake side operate independently. This allows corner entry and exit to be tuned separately. Bushing/spring pre-load is always maintained. Also the brake bushing works more effectively because it's not loaded with engine spring pre-load. The car turns better during decelleration as a result.

    Bracket fastens on rear axle and mounts coil-overs so that axle wrap tends to load or unload tires closest to clamps.

    • For 3" axle tubes.
    • The drop on this is 5”, that is a measurement from the center of axle housing to the bottom of the shock mount.
    • The shock mount is 1/2” for a standard racing shock eye lit size.
    • The clamp width is 1-3/4”.

    These are NOT a direct fit in the stock pickup A-frames. Used on IMCA cars to raise roll center (raised pivot point).

    1. These ball joint use a 1973-95 GM Truck taper, but they have a longer (taller) stud than the stock GM part. The taller stud changes the pivot point due to its length, which in turn raises the car's roll center. Very common ball joint on IMCA Modifieds.
    2. Lower ball joint fits most stut cars, 1971-1976 Impala and most wide-type dirt cars. Press-In.
    3. Fits most popular racing and passenger car spindles.

    The sealed bushing gives you bind-free performance in all conditions and gives you maximum forward bite.  Uses 5" O.D. by 6 5/8" springs.  Use a 1050# springs on slick tracks and 1200# spring normally.  Springs sold separately.  Subtract 16" from finished center to center.

    AFCO's foundation was built on fabricating tubular control arms for the racing industry. Because of their attention to detail and adherence to the strictist manufacturing tolerances, AFCO control arms have been the choice of professional racers and chassis builders for over two decades.

    These tubular control arms have a 10 degree angle built into the ball joint sleeve to allow for misalignment. Use with Moog K772 style ball joints. Lightweight aluminum cross shaft features 1/2" bolt holes with a center spacing of 6".

    • Cross shaft bushings are clearanced to allow shrinkage during the welding process
    • Accurate 10 degree angle built into ball joint ring to allow greater suspension travel

    Length is measured from cross shaft centerline to ball joint center.
