    Explosion proof bellhousing for Chevy, Olds, Buick and Pontiac. Dual starter pockets, places starter either side of engine. Works with standard mechanical linkage, cable linkage or hydraulic linkage.

    • Accepts Saginaw, Muncie, T-10, T-50, and T-5 trans w/ 17 degree rotated pattern

    Bellhousing will fit Chevy V8 (1962-1992), some Chevy V6 (1962-1992), Oldsmobile and Pontiac V8 (1964-1992), and Buick V8 (1967-1980).

    Hole in center will not fit some Saginaw transmissions out of trucks which have a larger nose flange. You'll need a different flange or machine your current one.

    Explosion proof bellhousing for 1958 and later Chevy, Olds, Buick and Pontiac. Dual starter pockets, places starter either side of engine. Uses standard, cable or hydraulic linkage.

    Complete assembly includes housing, block-plate, and hardware for bolting the block plate to the bellhousing. This complete bellhousing has the SFI sticker attached. This bell housing has an SFI Rating of 6.1.

    This part will fit 1962-1992 Chevy V8 and some Chevy V6 (1962-1992). Will fit Oldsmobile and Pontiac V8, and some V6 (1965-1992). And will fit Buick V8 and some V6 (1967-1980).

    Fits all popular GM transmissions like Saginaw, Muncie, BW T-10, T-50 and T-5 with 17 degree rotated pattern.

    This bell housing weighs 28.10 pounds and the plate weighs 10.25 pounds

    These strong, lightweight steel bellhousings are just the ticket for installing a Saginaw, Muncie or Richmond manual transmission behind your favorite V8 engine. We're now offering them for Oldsmobile and Pontiac V8.

    The compact design allows the bellhousings to fit in tight quarters and most will accommodate up to a 11" clutch. Set up to use an original style clutch fork and release bearing, but can also be used with hydraulic release bearings.
