shock mount bolts

February 11, 2015
These were exactly what I was looking for, the shipping was timely and the product was as advertised. I am not a big fan of nylock nuts however and replaced them with standard nuts and lock washers. The nylocks are very hard to get started and I did not want to mar the surfaces of the bolts using vise grips to get them on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great part at a reasonable price!

April 05, 2014
A real time-saver. It would take a good machinist 2 hours to make one of these studs, not-to-mention the zinc plating and nylock nuts. I have 8 of these studs on my ratrod and will be using these shock studs on all of my future builds.
Pros:
  • Well designed
Yes, I recommend this product.

Inexpensive and sturdy

December 01, 2010
I fabricate a lot of my own parts, but Speedway offers a lot of short cuts for less than I can make them for. My 32 project has very sturdy shock towers. I drilled and tapped the towers and my tube axle to allow me to screw these studs in and once tightened in I welded them solid. They're not going any where. The price was right and they saved me time.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Part number 91036096 This shock mount stud would work on our rear 4 bar bracket for the model A such as number 91649055 if running standard shocks. If you want to use Coil Over shocks on the four bar bracket then we suggest part number 91636010. It will be necessary to drill the ½” hole on the four bar bracket to 5/8” in order to use the coil over shock mount.

Coil-Over Shock Mount Support
(Part #91636010)

Speedway sells the ONLY fully engineered shock mount. The 5/8" forged button head bolt looks good while offering maximum support.  The 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" billet aluminum support spacer has internal threads. This allows you to properly support this shock without crushing the bushing like others do, which leads to shock failures. There's a reason major chassis builders use this mount.

  • Billet aluminum
  • 4-1/2" from base of head to end of threads
  • 1-1/4" shock mount base
  • Safely mounts to brackets 1/2" thick
  • Includes required washers and nylon lock nut
  • Mounts sold individually
