                        Callie's solid modeling abilities provide a great  advantage in product  development. They’re able to precisely locate  material where it will  yield the greatest advantage in terms of both  strength to weight, and  balance ability.

Beginning with properly placed counterweights that not only improve balance but reduce bearing loads, every aspect of these highly stressed components has been analyzed. The forgings are rough machined in a process that includes double stress relief operations that make these crankshafts very dimensionally stable.

Hardened with a deep nitride, Compstar cranks are ideal for all types of abusive racing environments. All rod journals are drilled and counterweights are profiled for piston clearance. With a consistent grind and polish, along with precise stroke and index, you will see why we say these crankshafts are Compstar Correct!
Clevite S/B Chevy H Series 400 Main Engine Bearings Standard/STD
                        Clevite's H-Series was developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing, but  they are suitable for all types of competition engines. These sets are for 1970-1980 S/B Chevy 400 c.i. V-8 engines.   
  • Use H-series bearings with crankshafts that have oversize fillets and where engines run in the medium to high RPM range.
  • H-Series bearings should be used if contact patterns obtained with P-series parts are too narrow. Contact pattern should ideally cover 2/3 to 3/4 of the bearing surface.
  • If you aren't sure which type of performance bearing to start with, the H-Series will be your best choice.

Clevite 1969-Up Chevy H Series Rod Bearings Large Journal-Standard
                        Clevite's H-Series was developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing, but  they are suitable for all types of competition engines. These sets are  specifically for 1969-Up 302-305-327-350 S/B Chevy "Large Journal" engine (with 2.100" rod  journals).
