Modeled after headers used on sprint cars and other open-wheel racers, these small-block Chevy Sprint Roadster headers have an aggressive style that makes them our most popular headers for T roadsters. Designed for early street rods without hood sides. They route the exhaust over and outside the frame rail, along the side of the car.
Available in plain steel, show-quality chrome, or with an Armor Hot Coat ceramic finish.

AHC Warning: AHC coatings will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures over 1300 degrees. A lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures exceeding 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is damaged due to a lean condition, the coating will not be warranted, but can be recoated for a fee.
Chrome Warning: Due to a revised chroming process brought on by recent EPA regulations and high labor costs, today's chrome is not the quality of days gone by. Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. No warranty or returns on chrome exhaust items once them have been installed.

If on our website you can enter the part number in the search window and click search. Once on the initial page click on the wording or photo again to bring up the second page with part numbers and pricing. Scroll down to the purple print reading “Sprint-Style Header Dimensions and it will bring up the three crucial dimensions along with tube and collector size. If in our catalog there is also a header specification right in the header section with the same information. Exact dimension you requested is a little difficult but from the head out to the furthest point as listed on our spec sheet is 14.50”. If you take the tube size of 1 5/8” the leading tube would be 12 7/8” to the inside but further back where the tubes are stacked would double the 1 5/8 to 3 ¼ so inside at that point would be 11 ¼”. Just some basic math and still not to the thousandths of an inch as there is probably a few thousandths of clearance between the pipes.
