how do i disconnect the regulator/filter fitting? while mocking up the fuel system, was trying to figure out the connections to components. i mated the filter/regulator opening with the male russell fitting and it clicked in. i'm not finished mocking it up, is there a special tool to disconnect the fitting from the regulator?

To remove the adapter fitting you will need to squeeze the two plastic tabs down toward the tube going through the center and then pull the fitting off. Sometimes a couple of small screwdrivers can help to get the plastic tabs held down.
