What's in the Box

The lighter the rotating mass, the faster you can accelerate off the turns. It doesn't get much lighter than this Quartermaster 5-1/2" Drive dual disc clutch!  Simply use with a GM flex plate and bolt to your pre-'86 S/B Chevy crankshaft. 1-1/8" x 10 spline.

Tech Tip:  When installing a new multi disc clutch, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for correct set-up.  You should also replace the pilot bushing/bearing.

Tech Tip:  To extend the life of your expensive racing clutch you should not use it to load the car on or in your trailer.  The amount of slippage this causes is worse than a night of racing.

Quarter Master 115509124TM Bert/Brinn Transmission Bellhousing Kit
                        

For those of you running a Bert or Brinn clutchless transmission, Quarter Master offers this affordable bellhousing kit. QM Engineers used the latest computer software to make this the lightest and stiffest bellhousing on the market today. This design has eliminated cracking around the starter pocket inherent with other bellhousings.

Includes 91-tooth flywheel, 1.4 kW reverse rotation starter, starter adapter plate, steel crank hub with bolts, oil pump belt, and aluminum bellhousing. Allows for mounting of oil and fuel pumps using HTD type belt.  Fits S/B and B/B Chevy - applicable to pre-1985 2-piece rear seal crankshafts.

NOTE: Only works with "older" KSE Tandem Pumps. The newer style Tandem X pumps have a different mounting configuration and will not match up.

Quartermaster replacement clutch disc pack available in a dual-disc 1-1/8" 10-spline configuration. Disc packs feature an advanced friction formula developed from rigorous testing and feedback in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The increased torque capacity gives the driver a better clutch pedal feel, improving drivability. Performance is also improved due to the increased coefficient of friction.

Quarter Master 710200 Hydraulic Throwout Bearing for 5.5 Inch Clutch
                        

This floating hydraulic throwout bearing is designed for 5.5" clutches using a flexplate and button clutch combination. Bearing comes with enough fittings so that you could use a -3 AN or -4 AN supply line.

  • Bleed hose NOT included 
  • Bleeder hole is threaded 5/16"-24
  • Collapsed height: 2.350"
  • Outside diameter: 4.410"
  • Inside diameter: 1.425"
