What's in the Box

No other performance intake manifold on the market is available with all the features and benefits found in the Power+Plus High Performance Racing Manifold.  These 360° manifolds feature dual distributor hold downs for Chevy, four corner water outlets, and line of sight port configuration. They also have extended port dividers, thermostat recess, and an accessory bracket boss and tapped hole. There is an air gap under the front water crossover for extra cooling and an extra tapped water port. 

These manifolds have permanent mold castings for accurate port placement, tighter grain castings, and less porosity. They have nitrous bosses, measure 5.12" from carb base to bottom of manifold, and are available in satin finish or polished (the area under the intake runners is not polished). RPM range is 3000-7500 RPM.

Excellent design

This manifold is equal or better than those of competitors. The deep plenum and ample runner volumes are efficient at higher RPMs. I especially appreciate the water outlets at the rear so coolant can be transferred to the thermostat housing thereby allowing more equal cylinder temperatures. Also, it is easy to port match.

Not a bad product for the price.

Great manifold for the price. The extra water ports are nice. It's a fairly rough casting. As expected with all hotrod parts there's going to be a little clean up needed to make it perfect. All in all it was worth the money to me.

Converting 1990 Chevy TBI to carburation (600CFM Edlebrock) Will this manifold work for my conversion and will the added water ports solve my excess engine heat problems?? I am an amateur mechanic and did a lot of work on older chevy motors - 1965 and earler - these newer motors and TBI are totally out of my normal range of knowledge - appreciate all the info you can provide.

Yes this intake will bolt onto your 1990 TBI engine but with this being an open plenum intake with a 3000 to 7500 RPM range it would certainly not be a top pick for your application. Intake manifolds 91011265 or 91011260 (w/ EGR) will also fit your engine and be a much better design for your stock engine in a pickup. These manifolds also have the water ports at the rear if you would like to add some cooling lines. I would not expect a large change in coolant temperature from adding these lines, especially for a street driven engine. Your engine probably has something causing it to run hot.

No a Holley 4500 series Dominator carburetor will not bolt on to this intake. This is for a 4150 carburetor. You would need an adapter to put a Dominator on it.

Is the 52031 identical to the Edelbrock 2925 I'm using this intake on a Open Sportsman 358 Dirt Modified. I can not see any differences and I have a 52031. If I could save a few hundred bucks that would be great.

There is a fair amount of difference between this intake and an Edelbrock 2925 Super Victor. The biggest difference is the plenum shape and runner design. This intake is much closer in design to the GM Bowtie intake manifold. With all that being said this intake will typically give comparable performance to the Edelbrock 2925.

The power plus hurrincan intake is listed to fit 1957-95 small block chevy standard port location 23 degree heads including cast iron²Bowtie, Dart Iron Eagle, World Products and most aluminum after market 23 degree heads. If your engine has '87-'95 cast iron heads, and your new manifold has four slotted holes for the four center attachment bolts, you must insert the supplied aluminum adapters into the slotted holes.

This intake manifold can be used as a replacement manifold when converting from throttle body injection to a carburetor on small block Chevy engines up through 1995. It will accept the standard square bolt pattern Holley and Edelbrock four barrel carburetors.

This intake manifold does not have any ports for vacuum. If you need one you will need to drill and tap the manifold for vacuum ports. There are some extra water ports in this manifold which are sometimes used on high performance engines for increased cooling. If they are not necessary in your application then you can simply plug off the extra water ports.

This intake will fit Chevrolet engines up to 1995 including Camaro and Corvette TPI engines as well as car and pickup TBI engines. If you have a 1996 to 1999 Vortec engine you would need intake part number 91011295.
