These Pro-1 rod ends are general purpose, 2 piece, heavy duty rod ends. They feature a Chromoly steel body and are black oxide coated to resist corrosion. Heat treated, precision ground ball. Metal to metal contact. They will withstand a greater static load than our "standard" or "precision" rod ends.
Applications: Steering & suspension components on moderate to high horsepower applications.
ASSEMBLY TIP:
To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.
