Pressure brake switch has 1/8" male NPT threads. For inline installation of this switch, use one of the corresponding tee fittings. This is a standard normally open switch that closes when actuated, at 60-100 psi.
I haven't installed this yet, but it appears to be a quality product.
I built my Model T roadsters brakes from scratch. I designed under floor mounted pedals. You should use a line pressure switch on these types of system because dirt and water could enter and destroy an ordinary push button type switch mounted under the car.

is this type of switch used for brake lights? is in tail lights, turn signals and brake lamps? does it take the place of a push butting type that would be mounted on or near a brake pedal?
Asked on 1/4/2012 12:38:02 PM by Brent from KS
91031305 This pressure brake switch can be used in place of an existing push button or mechanical switch for the brake lights. Depending on the application, if one bulb or filament is dual purpose for brake and turn the leads will have to work in conjunction with the turn signal switch and be wired accordingly.
