Warranties

Powermaster's warranty is one year from the date of purchase on all
street rod components, and 90 days for any component use for an off road or race application.  

Powermaster will provide all warranty service and technical support
regarding warranty claims and inquiries directly to the purchaser to
resolve any warranty claims or necessary technical support for warranty
resolution.  Speedway Motors is not able to service, warranty, or
replace any unit that has a warranty consideration.  As such, the
component or components are to be returned to Powermaster and not to
Speedway Motors.  

All customers service inquiries pertaining to warranty and defect claims
are to be directed to Powermaster and not to Speedway Motors:

Any Powermaster product that is returned directly to Speedway Motors
that is not in a new condition, and that is being returned for warranty
replacement or refund consideration will be immediately forwarded on to
Powermaster from Speedway Motors on behalf of the purchaser with no
further action taken until received by Powermaster.  Powermaster will
then will provide both the purchaser and Speedway Motors with final
resolution as to the warranty claim.

Overall good product, one problem noted

I purchased an identical Powermaster starter (also from Speedway) almost five years ago to the day. I was very pleased with it until a couple months ago. The solenoid started acting up (i.e, occasionally just click when you turned the ignition key). Before everyone assumes I had a bad ground, heat issues or weak battery, let me explain. I had good multiple battery grounds. In fact, one of the grounds is a direct cable from the negative battery terminal to one of the bolts used to connect the starter to the engine block. The battery is kept on a Battery Tender and I have Lakester headers which exit out the side of the motor (nowhere near the starter). The clincher was, if I would tap the solenoid with a plastic-head hammer, it would engage. I was disappointed that a product (solenoid) made in the USA would only last five years; particularly on a street rod that's driven only 500 miles a year. Anyway, since I was satisfied with the Powermaster starter until the solenoid issue, I ordered this new one. I've had it on the vehicle for a couple weeks now and it works great. Here's my real issue with this product - If you have to use the supplied shim (for clocking or space requirements) that goes between the starter block and the starter, they are connected with two semi-shallow depth 3mm hex head screws that are torqued to 50in/lbs. This is not a job for a standard simple hex wrench. Placing the starter in a vice and using a 3mm socket hex on a ratchet wrench using lots of pressure is the only way to keep from rounding out the screw heads. I've shown this to several of my street/hot rod friends. All agree this is a fine example of poor engineering. A bigger and deeper size hex head is all that's required to alleviate lots of customer frustration and bad publicity regarding an otherwise good product.

Yes this straight pattern starter will bolt right onto your block and work fine since your block is drilled and tapped for the straight across pattern.

Starter number 91067450 is for a big and small block Chevy engines with 153 tooth flywheel. Chevy did not use a 154 tooth flywheel so I would guess that you have a 153 tooth.
