This 100 amp PowerMaster alternator mounts on the lower left front of your Small Block Chevy. This is a simple one-wire hook-up and includes the bracket and hardware, and pulley.

This alternator is designed to be used with short water pumps. The bracket mounts to a pair of holes just to the side of the timing cover on most S/B Chevys.

 

  • This compact alternator comes with a 2-1/4” O.D. V belt pulley
  • Centerline of crankshaft to centerline of alternator is 8-3/4"
  • Crank centerline to farthest side of alternator would be 10 1/2" minimum, 11 1/4" maximum
  • Overall length end of pulley to end of housing is 6”
  • All the way adjusted in the dimension from the lower mounting bolt center to the center of alternator is 3-1/2”
  • All the way adjusted out the dimension from center of lower mounting bolt to center of alternator is 4-1/2”
