These tie rod/drag link kits are pre-cut and tapped lengths of 7/8" O.D. tubing available in multiple lengths. Each kit comes complete with 5/8" heim joint rod ends and jam nuts. Adjustable 1/4" shorter to 1/2" longer. All lengths are measured eye to eye. Tapped right-hand & left-hand threads. Always use anti-seize during final installation. 

Normally used with '49-'54 Chevy style spindles and flat steel steering arms. Can be used with stock type Ford arms if drilled out to 5/8".

I used them as tie rods, and four link bars on my bagged '42 ford pickup with an 8ba flathead, and they work perfectly.

I used a Speedway drag link between my Vega box and model A spindle. Worked fine, looks good. I ordered two actually, one with Heim ends and the other with ball joints, ended up using the ball joints after reaming out my spindles. [...]
