Axle number 7022852 is a 46” axle kingpin centerline to kingpin centerline and has perch centers where the wishbones attach at 34 3/8” center to center and uses a 29” spring. You need to verify your axle dimensions to confirm fit. Ford ran 48” axles also with 36 3/8” perch bolt centerlines and using a different width axle requires a different spring and also modification to your original wishbone.

Depending on the wheel and tire combination you plan to run helps determine the axle width needed to keep the tires and wheels inside the confines of the fenders. A 48” axle with disc brake conversion nets around a 56 ¼ - 56 ½” track width. The 5 ½ bolt pattern kit is just under 56 ¼”. Now for an additional warning, if planning on running the stock wire wheels they will not clear the disc brake calipers without the use of a spacer. Depending on the wheel you could need anywhere from a 1/8” thick spacer all the way up to a 1 ¼” thick spacer. To avoid the use of a spacer and still maintain the wire wheel look the aftermarket wire wheels from Coker Tire normally are disc brake compatible. The track width mentioned is hub face to hub face where the wheels will directly bolt.
