Flame-Thrower II coils feature a super low 0.6 Ohm primary resistance which make them the ideal coil for Ignitor II ignition systems, Flame-Thrower billet distributors, as well as many other high energy ignitions. Low resistance and improved turns ratio help to produce up to 45,000 volts. This higher voltage enables you to run larger spark plug gaps for added power and better fuel economy.

These coils are also compatible with most capacitive discharge boxes.

6 Volt application with 0.6 ohm resistance for 8 Cyl engines

12 Volt application with 0.32 - 0.6 ohm resistance for 4, 6, & 8 cylinder engines

    If you are looking to upgrade your stock coil, or want to compliment the performance of your MSD ignition, the Blaster Coil line is the right choice. Special 100:1 windings, kept cool in an oil filled metal canister, are used to provide maximum build-up of voltage.  The tower assembly is molded of durable alkyd material due to its high dielectric characteristics while wide spaced brass primary terminals prevent the possibility of spark. Can be used with a stock ignition, Blaster Ignition, or MSD 5, 6 or 7 Ignition Control.
    The 0.8 ohm ballast resistor must be used with stock points ignition and Mallory Unilite applications. Includes MSD Power Tower top.

    These high voltage E-core design coils by Pertronix put out an incredible 60,000 volts and are encased in a 6063 T-5 aluminum heat sink. These coils are 50 state legal and are available with different resistance values for your application. Flame-Thrower HV .046 ohm coils are also compatible with most capacitive discharge boxes.

                                                        The hotter the spark, the easier your engine will start, and this 45,000 volt coil is just the ticket to a quick start! Has 0.6 ohms of resistance. Black case for a stock look.

    6 volt coils can be used with 6 volt point systems. If used with 12 volt point systems, it should have a 1.00 OHM resistor added.
