On our 14” round top windshield frame you can use either the standard straight posts number 91656231 or the angled posts number 7151111. The Speedway bodies commonly use the 39 5/8" wide frames and this frame number 55522412 is for a 39”. If unsure of which body you have we suggest ordering the posts first and then fitting them to your body in order to determine which width you need.

Are there posts available to fit this windshield to the Speedway roadster body 7152760. Alternatively is there a 1 piece windshield available to fit that body? Thanks

Part number 55522422 is a 39 5/8” windshield frame as used on our 23-25 T buckets along with the short T posts number 91656231. These posts will require significant modification to use on the 26/27 cowl. What builders are using is the Speedster Vee frame number 55526500 or our new 1926-27 Smoothie posts number 71510623 or the polished version. With these you simply mount the posts in the desired location and angle and template for the glass and there is no need for an actual windshield frame. Our LoBoy posts number 97456932 are also another option.

This p/n 55522412, W/S FRAME 14\"X39\"ROUND TOP is 5/8" short of fitting Speedway Motors T body. P/n 55522422 is the 39 5/8" length W/S frame for our body. The short posts are cast and may require some clearancing on the inside corners for proper fitment. All Speedway Motors W/S frames are jig welded and assembled, so dimensions will not vary. Lower corner apexes can be removed to allow for glass installation. W/S frames have a \"slug\" inside the tubular frame that can be drilled and tapped for a correct and secure fit.
