Q & A

What's in the Box

These ladder bars definitely will get some attention while getting the job done.  Made of heavy .177" plate, we then add lightening holes along with 5/8" polyurethane bushing, axle plates, coilover mounts, and front mounting plates. The length is measured from axle centerline to the front bushing centerline.  This is the same assembled length of our classic 32" rear radius rods.  Welding and fitting required.

Part # 91645121 These heavy duty ladder bars should suffice well on the dragstrip. With the adjustment versatility they allow for pinion angle adjustment and also accommodate the coil over rear suspension.

These ladder bars are of universal nature and will work on the high horsepower applications for extra strength. There are 4 adjustment holes on the frame mount end to help obtain the correct pinion angle. Also includes the coil over mount brackets with 6 height choices for more variation in ride height options. Normally used in coil over applications they may be used on other suspension variations at owners discretion.

I would like to use these in place of the radius rods on a nostalgia T. Do I weld the front mounting plates to the trans crossmember or is a separate crossmember needed? Are the mounts for the top of the shocks included?

I believe the best place to weld the front ends would be on the frame itself. This will provide for the best structural integrity. There are upper shock mounts included. They are built to weld to a 2" round bar or tube so they may need to be worked a little for the application you plan to use them in.
