These case hardened OEM style stamped steel locks are designed for stock engines using 7 degree valve locks. They are manufactured from machined steel and offer excellent valve spring location, so it is not necessary to change to a 10 degree retainer. Whether you're rebuilding a stock engine or changing to valve springs that have more seat pressure, these valve locks will provide the reliability that you've been looking for.
