what pump do i need for a 98 ls1 can i use my pump on the engine with my mustang 2 rack?
Asked on 5/3/2011 2:51:34 AM by from
If your rack is an actual Mustang II rack you will need to reduce the flow from your stock pump to work with the rack. We have power steering pumps that have the proper valving to work with this rack such as part # 91032922-Ford. We also have a power steering valve part # 91032923 which would let you reduce the flow to the rack and let you use your existing pump. If you have one of our power racks it will work with a stock GM power steering pump.
