No, I'm sorry this fits a 1917-1927 Model T, and not a 1928 Model A.

Having recently purchased this,I'm getting ready to solder this in place to the radiator. Noting that it's plated, but brass as is the radiator top tank, what's the best directive for soldering this piece in place? I believe some of the chrome would need to be filed off the bottom and the lower edge of the base,No?

Clean the plating off the bottom and the very edge and be careful controlling the heat so as not to blister the plating.Tin the neck and the radiator and then sweat solder in place. Another option would be a two part high temp epoxy and glue in place.
