With cross steering a Panhard bar is a must-have. It stops side-to-side sway of chassis relative to the axle. This bar is for spring-over-axle, 4-bar front ends on 1928-1934 Fords.  Tube O.D. is 5/8".

Chassis bracket welds-on, then bar bolts in place to the side of the 4-bar batwing. We carry the Super Bell spindles for 1928-'48 Ford cars. They require a bolt-on steering arm and come complete with king pins and bushings installed and fit.  These spindles are modeled after  the '37-'41 round-back design and use '37-'41 Ford king pins. 
These spindles fit Ford axles from '28-'48. They can be used with period correct drum brakes or modern Speedway Motors disc brakes, but will not work with hubs from '28-'36.

For Ford axles 1928-1948
Will not work with 1928-1936 Hubs

Speedway's exclusive steering & brake kits for 1937-48 Ford spindles save you time and money by combining all necessary parts into one part number. Each kit includes premuim Wilwood brake components, spindles, flat steering arms, tie rod assembly and hardware. Hubs are drilled for both 4-1/2" and 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Must be used with a 15" or larger wheel. For use on cars up to 2800 pounds with rear discs or on cars up to 2400 pounds with rear drums. Kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders.
