No this does not have a rev limiter. You will need to get a 6AL box part number 5476425 to get a built in rev limit.

Yes this ignition box will work fin with a for 351W engine. You will need a distributor such as 5478584 and a coil such as 5478202 or 5478252.

Set an rpm limit on the MSD 6AL rev limiter with two rotary dials. Has the same bolt pattern as the original 6AL, but with a lower profile housing. Built-in LED for system checks. All wires exit the same side through a locked, sealed connector. Compatible with 4, 6 and 8-cylinder engines.
