78422 magnetic adabter. Is this adapter, and a caster/camber gauge, what we need to set the caster/camber on a 1967 Mustang with steel wheels? I guess we would pull the bearing grease cover off and your adapter would slip over the axle and it's nut? Trying to get a picture of this, please explain. Front brakes are drum on this car but will be used on discs also.

Yes that is how this magnetic adapter is used. You will remove the bearing dust cap and this adapter holds to the flat surface of the hub snout.
