Q:

I'm installing this shifter in a 1946 dodge pickup sitting on a s-10 frame. The floor board in truck can be removed with ease. How can I tell if there's enough room for the travel of the shifter between seat and dash. I think the shifter is adjustable, to move forward or back on the trans. I guess length of throw would be of concern? If this shifter won't work, I guess the cable model would?
