Floor Mount Emergency Hand Brake is chromed steel and designed after the automotive industry standards. Ratchet cut gear plate and lock are heat treated for strength and safety. Special feature includes 4-point mounting capabilities for floor mount or side mounting for custom applications.

Comes complete with clevis for installation with Lokar Emergency Brake Cables. Cables are sold separately.

Handle: 

  • Length of upper chrome handle is 9-1/8" from rear to end of release button
  • From end of release button to center of clevis pin is 10-5/16"
  • From pivot point to end of release button is 9-3/16"
  • From pivot point to center of clevis pin is 1-7/8"
  • From center of clevis pin to top of handle is 3-1/4"

Mounting:

  • Mounting bolt centers for horizontal brackets are 4-11/16"
  • Horizontal mounting bracket holes are 2" center to center side to side
  • Horizontal mounting bracket holes are also 4-11/16" center to center from front to rear
  • From center of clevis pin to end of clevis is 1-1/8"
  • Clevis referred to is at bottom of assembly and where the e-brake cables attach

Nice Fit

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Fits nice in the limited space that I had. It has a short travel, making it hard to pull far enough to hold the vehicle on a hill, but it does work and has different options for mounting.

Good Product

Cons:
A little too short
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Used in my 53 Chevy Truck. Looks Great, and does the job. The handle is a little short, but no big deal since you don't have to use to often. I love Speedway, been using them since 2007. Never had a problem.

Emg Brake floor mt style

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I really was impressed as to ease of installation and the fact its small and out of the way. I'm refurbishing a 1929 steel body ford that was built in the early 70s and lacked a few things to make it a daily driver and inspection legal. This unit (along with cables and boot to install with it) will make a great looking and very functional park brake making it year round street legal for inspection purposes. GREAT PRODUCT works well with stock floors in this highboy cpe.
