Lightweight Forged Small Block Chevy Rotating Assembly

Our lightweight forged rotating assemblies include a 44-45 lb. Scat Superlight 4340 forged 2-pc rear main seal crankshaft, Scat 4340 forged I-beam connecting rods and Mahle pistons complete with wrist pins, locks and rings. Rod and main bearings not included. Standard size journals.

All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art "hines" balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience. A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours.

These assemblies may require additional charges for heavy metal.

  • Scat 4340 Lightweight Forged Steel Crankshaft
    • Profiled aero-wing counterweights
    • Pendulum cut to reduce rotating mass 
    • Straight shot and chamfered oil holes
    • Nitride hardened and shot peened
    • Lightening holes in all rod throws
    • Large radius on all journals

    • 4.125" bore pistons available in standard, .030 or .040 sizes
    • Set of 8 pistons
    • Includes low drag rings, lightweight wrist pins and round wire locks
