Drive Shaft Safety Loop
SKU-91048312
This driveshaft safety loop holds the drive shaft in place in case of universal joint failure. Made from 2" x 1⁄4" hot rolled steel with grade 5 bolts. Bolt-on installation.

Red Line 58204 Heavy Shockproof Synthetic Gear Oil, 1 Quart
SKU-60720100

Red Line Shockproof synthetic gear oil is designed for heavily loaded racing and street differentials that see heavy shock loading. It contains a unique solid dispersant that cushions gear teeth to help prevent breakage. Red Line Shockproof gear oil provides the protection of a 75W250 with the fluid thickness properties of a 75W90.

Ideal for use in sprint, midget, and dirt late model differentials as well as in rear ends using spools or lockers.

  • Fully-synthetic gear oil formula created from polyol ester base stocks offers excellent lubrication under extreme conditions
  • High viscosity-index to provide relatively constant viscosity and film thickness with varying temperature change
  • Ester base stocks and friction modifiers provide additional slipperiness to lower operating temperatures by reducing the sliding friction in hypoid gears
  • Superior shear stability and reduced oxidation compared to other synthetics and conventional gear oil
  • Exceed API GL-5 specifications
  • Engineered to provide the highest degree of protection and improvement of differential efficiency for better mileage, longer drain intervals, and less wear
  • Not recommended for most synchro applications due to the product's extreme slipperiness
Flat Spring Liners
SKU-91033035
Equal partners in a smooth-riding leaf spring suspension are quality shocks and friction-free movement of the spring leafs.

This special compound of poly-vinyl plastic has a very "slippery" surface. This works as a permanent dry lubricant that eliminates interleaf friction and squeaking.

Comes as a flat strip so you can trim it to fit any width spring, (front or rear) up to 3-3/4" wide.

Leaf Spring Liner with Lip, 1-3/4 Inch

This special compound of poly-vinyl plastic has a very "slippery" surface which works as a permanent dry lubricant to eliminate interleaf friction and squeaking. It also features a small lip to keep it in place.

One 20 ft. roll does one cross spring. Liner is less than 1/16" thick.

U-Joint Girdle

Book/Manual - How to Hook and Launch: Traction Mods for Street & Strip
SKU-28178195
While building big horsepower has become easier, putting that power down to the pavement is still quite a challenge. Getting great ""bite"" involves a lot more than sticky tires and a smoky burnout. The suspension system is being put to work in a way it was never designed to operate. A better understanding of exactly what is happening to the suspension when the car launches from a standing start will assist you in maximizing your car's effectiveness on the street or at the track.

In How to Hook and Launch: Traction Mods for the Street & Strip, author Dick Miller explains the physics behind what gets a car moving from a standing start, and how to best harness the various powers at work. Getting the rear tires to really bite and gain maximum traction is divided into several small steps, and Miller walks you through each phase of the launch.

Today's enthusiasts face a wide range of potential traction improvements, from softer tires and basic bolt-ons to complete or partial chassis replacements. Most opt for something in-between, where some well-engineered components are chosen to replace the factory equipment and offer a greater capability and range of adjustment. It is this range of upgrades where Miller spends most of his time, explaining what the parts and pieces do, and how to use them to their highest potential.
