There's a pretty good chance you aren't using the low oil level sensor that is sticking out of the oil pan on your LS engine. These plugs replace the sensor and clean the pan up. If you want to run an oil temp gauge, order the plug with the 1/8” npt hole in it. Fits 99-up Vortec and 97-up Corvette and F-body LS1 oil pans.
