I used this product to run a new braking system on my 1967 toyota FJ project. I purchased a 25 foot roll of 3/16 brake line, a pack of 3/16 line clamps, and these line nuts. The products fit great and the customer service and shipping were easy fast, simple, and pleasant.

Flare Nuts

May 04, 2011
The flaring nuts worked fine as a replacement since my original rusted beyond all recognition. If these rust out they will most likely not be able to be removed but for replacement they are ok. Only slightly more economical than my local auto supply.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Can I use these with your Nylon Brake Line Kit? I want to use your Nylon Brake Line Kit Part #91031896. The problem is, the inlet on my flex hoses is 3/8"-24 and all the fittings in the nylon brake line kit are 1/8" NPT. Can I use these Tube nuts on the end and go straight into my flex hoses or do I need a compression fitting containing ferrels?

No theses nuts will not work with the nylon brake line kit. The brass union 917623 has 3/8"-24 threads on it if you remove the nut and ferrule from one side of it. This usually works well to adapt to a 3/8"-24 IFF frame connection. Several of these unions are included with the nylon brake line kit.
