Original equipment steering columns are loaded with unsightly brackets, tabs and switches. These columns are much cleaner in appearance and eliminate the column-mounted key switch. These tilt with automatic transmission shift lever versions feature a 2-1/4" O.D. column tube.
  • Self-canceling turn signals
  • 4-way flashers
  • Horn circuit
  • Aluminum dress-up kit (billet turn signal knob and handle tilt knob and handle and 4-way flasher button)
  • Chrome plated steel finish

Measures 28" long from steering wheel base to end of the 1" double D shaft. Each has a standard GM 3-7/8" wire harness, 5-position tilt, and accept stock 1969-up GM steering wheels or our custom wheels with an adapter (sold separately).

    Simplify connecting your column shift to your transmission with a Lokar  machined billet aluminum Adjustable Column Shift Linkage Kit. Works with all aftermarket GM style columns and most GM factory columns. Our rigid, clean line            design allows the proper ratio adjustment between the  transmission and the indicator on the column.
    •  Billet aluminum offers rigidity
    •  3/4-48 spline designed for 3600 rotation allowing proper ratio 
    •  Both 3/8-16NC and metric 10-1.50mm threaded nuts for mounting electrical accessories

    Lokar's Column Cable Shift Linkage is the ultimate answer to  interference issues when you are              unable to use factory or Lokar's hard column linkage.  The  cable allows you to route the cable around transmission, exhaust,  cross-members and brake pedals.  Our Exclusive Billet Aluminum Mounting  Arm can be used on either side of the column. Specially            extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and stainless  inner wire measuring 6 feet in length.  Ready-to-install hardware and  brackets included in kit – no cutting or measuring – simply bolts on. 
    Note:  For all GM Transmissions except Powerglide. Does not fit Ford or Chrysler Transmissions.
    Tech Tip: If you have a direct line of sight from column shift arm to transmission shift arm, we suggest using the adjustable column shift linkage # 491-1800.  To determine column diameter, measure the lower outer column tube.
