leaked

January 22, 2013
Was using with 45 degree double flared tubing and could not get these fittings to stop leaking. Even reflaring the tubing didn't work. Tightned one so much to stop leakage, I stripped the threads in the union coupler. Bought a replacement set @ my local auto supplier that were heavier (needed to use a 12 mm wrench on them compared to 7/16" on these) The new ones appeared to have a slightly larger center hole and a bigger flared surface inside. Installed them and had no leakage.
Cons:
  • couldn't stop leakage
No, I would not recommend this product.

These couplers worked great!

June 05, 2010
1. I used the couplers to connect brake lines together to get the length I needed. 2.You only have to use standard tools to get the job done. 3. Sometimes I would round the corners of the couplers, but, only on the ones where the coupling was in a hard position to reach with a straight combination wrench.
Pros:
  • The flare inside fitting
  • Ease of connection
  • The standard size tool
Yes, I recommend this product.
