Hurst remanufactured racing cheater slicks use premium radial cases and are retread using the original molds from the 1960's.
One sidewall is smooth with only the basic size noted next to the wheel in small print. The other side will have various wordings and names depending on the casing used.
These cheater slicks are a recapped tire. They start with a DOT approved case/core tire. The DOT number is generally left on the core side wall. All the tread is cut off and then they bond (recap) the cheater slick tread in its place.
