Answer this question
A:
This spring is used on a multitude of applications and the perch centers for the shackles on the rear end vary according to the vehicle weight. On the lighter T bucket cars the spacing is 44” center to center and on the heavier rides such as the Model A’s the spacing is 46” to compensate for the higher weight. This can vary per application and subject to the weight of the car the spring is used on but this is the basic guideline Speedway utilizes as a starting point.

Answer this question
A:
Part number 91043102
There are mounting options depending on your application and preference. The standard spring on top of the housing brackets are part number 91645108 which comes with the shackle kit. If wanting to mount behind the axle in 32 to 48 fashion part number 91645105 or 91645106 would be used. On lighter vehicles such as the T’s center of the shackle eye on the brackets is 44” and heavier vehicles at 46”. Overall vehicle weight and application can easily change the mount location per your application and this is a basic guideline.
