GoPro’s HD Motorsports HERO is the world’s highest performance 1080p HD on-board video and still photo camera. Professional quality 1080p, 960p, and 720p HD resolutions record at 30 frames per second (60 fps in 720p). The HD Motorsports HERO easily mounts to any helmet, motorcycle, ATV, car, plane, jet ski, boat, snowmobile or other vehicle. The camera’s quick-release mounting design makes it easy to re-position the camera around your vehicle for professional quality HD video from several angles.

Included are mounts for two helmets and three vehicles, as well as a suction cup for maximum versatility and convenience. The housing is waterproof to 180’ / 60m.  Also included is a 1100mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to 2.5 hours of constant recording. With optional accessories, you can also plug the camera into a wall outlet, cigarette lighter, or with any USB-compatible power adapter, wire it directly to your vehicle’s electrical system. The battery will charge while you record.

Excellent Camera

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We purchased the GoPro HD Motorsports camera from Speedway to use to document our Sprint Car Racing Season this year. After one night of videoing we are very happy with our purchase and the quality of video. It is very easy to use, however I would highly recommend the purchase of a spare battery.[@]Everyone who we have shown the video to around here has asked where we got the camera and we gladly tell them to go to Speedway Motors.The only downfall with the camera is that it does not contain a viewing window to view what you have recorded and you have to connect it to a laptop or tv to view, however GoPro has advertise that they are coming out with an upgrade and a LCD attachment for the camera, so in the meantime we carry along a portable tv to plug into, to view the video following each race.

Great camera even better price

Pros:
Easy, Good sound, Simple
Cons:
No playback on camera
Best Uses:
Everywhere
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great little camera. Works great in low light (inside or underneath car). Simple design for turning on and off. Don't like that I can't playback video right away without a tv or laptop but the pros outweigh the cons by far.
