Easy to install with ordinary heat gun.

These heatshrink clamps replace your ugly old hose clamps and give a much cleaner look. Conforms to any shape of hose or housing, even out of round fittings. They are easy to install with only a heat gun. Made from a heat-sensitive thermoplastic with a memory to prevent over/under-tightening. Unique indicator tells you when clamp has shrunk to seal.

Pros:
Avoids leaks, Durable, Easy To Use, Good looking
Cons:
Need space for heat gun, Tough to remove
Car & Truck:
Street Rodder
Best Uses:
Custom Cars
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used this on my street rod for a cleaner look. Per Gates, it seals tight and avoids future leaks due to expansion and contraction from heat. The clamp should be close to hose size to get a tight fit once shrunk. You need access around the clamp to use a heat gun to shrink it. Removal requires a special tool or a soldering iron.
