Early Ford Flame cut Design are 6-1/4".

Upper steering arms allow the attachment of a drag link to the LH (driver's side) spindle.
The arms attach with bolts through the upper 2 backing-plate-mounting holes on spindle.

These zinc plated arms are designed to have a 5/8" bolt run through the arm.

These arms are garage sale clearance items because we have discontinued them from our current product line.

No Warranty, No Returns on Garage Sale items.

bolts right on

By holtrod1 from San Diego, CA. on 2/4/2010
Pros:
Perfect mounting width, very strong
Cons:
Only one length available, Too Long
Best Uses:
Steering
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The drag link hole was not drilled on center. I had to cut some length off, and drill a new hole for the drag link for my custom application. The width of the mounting holes accurately fit my 1948 ford spindles. It would be nice if there were more dimensions, and lengths listed in the description.

tough, heavy duty

By RemRodz from Ellington, CT on 10/7/2010
Pros:
Fit great, Heavy duty, Hidden Fasteners
Cons:
Grease fitting access, Short
Best Uses:
Steering arm, Traditional steering setu
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

arm is very thick and strong. Might have to grind part of the arm or brake caliper depending on the brake setup for caliper mounting. Mounts to close to grease fitting for spindles, 90 degree fitting fixes problem though. Overall an A+.

Q:

Just need to know distance between bolt holes center to center. I may use in another application for my street rod. Also bolt size needed. Thanks

Q:

If this is for 37-48, shouldn't the holes be 3 3/8" on center, not 3 1/2"?????
