  1. The expressed measurement or length of the slip yoke is taken from the center of the U-joint to tip, not overall. This yoke measures 6" from the centerline of the U-joint to the front edge. Length of machined part of yoke is 4-3/8".

Longer slip yokes help compensate for extreme travel rear suspension set-ups or driveshaft lengths slightly shorter than needed. They fit the common GM 3 & 4 speed transmissions with a 1-3/16" x 27 spline output shafts. Powerglide, T-350, 700R, 200R and 4L60 Transmission Slip yoke. Muncie M20 & M21, Saginaw, Borg Warner T-5 T-10 & T-56 27 spline manual transmissions. The yoke is equipped with one master spline for transmissions so equipped. Will still work properly with an output shaft with solid splines. Currently this is the only option we carry for the transmissions as listed. If you transmission does have the master spline make sure the yoke is properly lined up.

Unfortunately the yoke that you are inquiring about part number 802-92420 is for a 1-3/16" x 27 spline output shaft and the Turbo Hydro 400 has a 32 spline output shaft.

Yes this slip yoke will fit a Falcon transmission such as 8026010. No this slip yoke is not hardened.
