Because this was on the same catalog page as fuel cell 458208 I assumed it would fit the top of the fuel cell to put the filer neck through the fender.
I bought this remote filler to replace a flush filler on my fuel cell. It fit perfectly and was simple and easy to install. The slot in the "C" ring was a little tight for my poly fuel cell, but could be pushed on without undue effort.
Installed this on the 16 gal poly fuel cell I bought from Speedway and installed in my T-bucket hot rod.
The filler neck worked perfect on my 1930 model A. So I could run a hose to the gas cap that I mounted on the body.
Well done piece of hardware. I would have liked some suggestions on ensuring a good seal.
