Eliminate alignment and binding problems on your straight axle front end! Adjustable spring perches allow you to fine-tune your front spring to get the best possible ride and handling characteristics. Perches are forged stainless steel construction and are long enough to work with lower shock mounts.

Use with 1-3/4" wide shackle/spring. Includes nylock nut.

 

Note: Our spring perches do NOT have a key slot cut into them. We recommend cutting the key slot into them in the proper location after the front end has been assembled and the shocks have been mounted. This will ensure that the key slot is in the proper location to line up with the key slot already cut into the lower shock mount.

  • Adjustable pivot shank measures 2" long with 7/8" of threads

The Part That Henry Forgot

This is a nicely made part that will allow for the proper adjustment caster. It has been called the part that Henry forgot.One thing must be kept in mind and that is that the spring will probably have to be replaced also as center to center of the perches is now reduced by about 2".I would use this on all future Hot Rod projects.Thanks to Speedway for supplying a part that is not only well made but helps assure the safety of a Hot Rod.

Best price & quality

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Most front crossmembers are welded in with some caster, usually three degrees. I wanted to run eight degrees, The best way to do it without putting the spring and shackels in a bind is to use adjustable perches. Speedy Bill's perches are top quality and are very affordable. If your front spring is in a bind, YOU NEED THESE PERCHES!! Your car will ride much better.

Q:

One of the reviewers stated that these required a shorter spring,as they were about 2" closer together than the stock perches. I have already bought my spring from speedway,will I be able to use it with these perch bolts?
