Here is a link to a pdf file that give step by step instructions to remove and install kingpins in your 53 axle. http://static.speedwaymotors.com/pdf/910-32126.pdf. Steps 1-4 specifically focus on removal. They might be tough to get out, but penetrating oil will help, or if that still doesn't work it will be necessary to press them out. Keep in mind you do not want to heat the axle.
