This complete brake and hub kit is designed to install 1974-80 Mustang II/Pinto rotors and calipers onto your machined Chevy 1949-54 car spindles. Disc brake kit is desigend for use only on street rod tube front axles when using 1949-54 Chevy style spindles intended for Model T and Model A to 1936 Ford front ends. This kit includes two 9-1/4" rotors with a Ford bolt pattern.
- 9-1/4" brake rotor, 5 x 4-1/2" wheel bolt pattern
- Pinto/Mustang iron calipers, 7/16"-24 inlet
- 16" rubber brake lines
- Zinc plated dust caps
- All necessary brackets, adapters, bearings, seals, and hardware

Note: Will not work with traditional style steering (no room for upper steering arm). Will not work with stock 1949-54 steering arms. Not to be installed on stock 1949-54 Chevy vehicle front ends.

Wilwood Forged Dynalite Front Drag Brake Kit offers a complete disc brake upgrade solution for Mustang II-equipped drag race application under 2800 lbs. Based on the venerable forged billet 4-piston Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits suit the braking requirements and style preferences for an off road drag racing application.
Calipers mount directly to the spindle with a bolt-on aluminum bracket. Forged billet, five lug hubs with direct mount steel rotors combine to provide an average weight savings of over 30 pounds compared to stock disc brakes. Kits include all new hardware, wheel bearings, seals, brake pads, brackets, and extra length lug studs.
Aluminum hubs drilled to accept both 5-on-4-1/2" and 5-on-4-3/4" bolt patterns.

Note: To measure what size fitting you have, you will need to measure the outside diameter of the threads and check the tread pitch. To check for thread pitch you will need to count the number of threads you have in 1". It is easier if you have a thread pitch gauge which should be available at your local hardware/bolt supply store. This particular fitting measures 7/16" thread outside diameter and has 24 Threads Per Inch (TPI).
