Very nice job on the chrome. Looks like show quality to me. Bolted right in to my '34 with no problems. I have three fans that kick on in stop and go traffic. So far 100 amps is enough to keep everything running and keep the battery fresh.

Just tape off the other two little wires so they don't touch anything. You will only need the big wire going to the battery. Easy Peezy.

On this Ford mount alternator the only one that hooks up is the battery lead. This one wire does not have the loop from the 2 prong plugin for the internal regulator. You can delete those wires as desired or roll them up under the dash.

Part # 91067156 This GM style one wire alternator features the Ford style mounting points. It fits most Ford OEM brackets but in some instances may require modification to the brackets or alternator boss for proper belt alignment. In some cases simple shimming may be all that is needed.

This is the GM style alternator with the Ford dimensioned mounting bosses and fits almost all Ford products including the small case Ford applications. It is a true one wire and will NOT require the use of a regulator or exciter wire. Simple one wire hook up to the main power lead and the alternator does the rest.

I bought the tuff stuff silver bullet signal wire alt. and are having a problem with it having clearance with the block. It would hit the hot post on the block or head. The case of it is about 1/2 inch bigger than the old alt. would this alt be smaller than the tuff stuff silver bullet and have the clearance I need to use my existing alt bracket?

We apologize but between the two alternators referenced there is less than 1/16" of difference between. If the positive stud is in the wrong place many alternators can be clocked to move the terminal to the opposite side. This is not recommended for all alternators and we suggest contacting Tuff Stuff direct for suggestions.
