Use with original or reproduction Model "T" thru '34 Ford crossmembers. Includes two U-bolts with nuts, one spacer plate and one lower bracket.
Worked very well with Speedways basic model 'A' suspension kit and crossmember.
Used this to mount my drop axle to a Speedway model A crossmember. Quality part with heavy duty hardware(can't build without it). I needed aproximately 5/8" worth of spacer to clear the bottom of the crossmember when clamping down the U bolts(I had material on hand)and the center hole in the base plate may need enlarged a bit for the springs center bolt.
This item was easy to use, built strong, and fit REAL good! Very nice
dont forget to buy this for your front leaf spring setup. Its not included with the front axle setup.

Is the nut on the bottom of the spring pack to go thru the spacer plate ? Or does the plate sit up against the nut on the spring pack ?

The cinch bolt or thru bolt that holds the leaf spring together along with the nut should fit into the lower U bolt clamp plate. It may be necessary to enlarge the hole to match your spring bolt dimensions. This helps eliminate the strain on the upper head of the bolt in keeping the spring centered in the mount.
