Triangulated 4-link rear suspension kit, including a Ford 9" rear end, specifically for the Speedway '32 Ford Boxed Truss frame 916-57050. This kit is a true bolt-in into our '32 Ford frame - no welding required. We suggest QA1 Adjustable rear coilovers 721-485 (at right) with 225 pound springs for this kit.

  • New 56" flange-to-flange Ford 9" housing with attached bracketry
  • New 31-spline high performance induction heat treated forged alloy steel axles
  • 3/4" 4-link bars (choose plain steel or polished stainless)
  • 4-bar rod ends with nylon bushings (polished stainless only)

 

916-45150 Instructions (PDF) (Note: All axle brackets come welded to the housing - disregard welding requirements in instructions as it has already been completed.)

9" Housing Specs:

  • 3" x .188" wall tubes
  • Third member studs installed
  • Includes third member gaskets, nuts, and washers

 

31-Spline Axle Specs:

  • Drilled for dual bolt patterns (5 on 4 1/2" Ford and 5 on 4 3/4" Chevy)
  • 1/2"-20 Ford style wheel studs & 7/16"-20 Chevy style wheel studs
  • Includes tapered roller bearings with races, seals, & collars
  • Heavy duty late model large bearing style retainer plates
  • 2.500" brake spacing offset
  • 2.800" axle register diameter
