The ford 9 inch I bought was great
For my 1930 ford 5 window coupe, Like the fact it's ready to install rite out of the box.
This went into a 1946 Chevy Truck Rod, with a four link narrowed 9. Ready and primed, my exsperience with Speedway is great, and I live 45 min. from both Jegs, and Summit, and I went with Speedway, with no regrets to date.

This was the best price I could find anywhere, and the performance so far has been flawless. My only complaint is that it was primer gray, and not black. Highly recommended!

it says street use only..... I will be running it occassionaly at the drags but not on a consistant basis. Will this work for that purpose . Also is the 1310 yoke the standard size ford yoke?

Our third member 910 48345 will work very well for street use and an occasional trip to the dragstrip. The 1310 u-joint is the correct size for many Ford applications.and it features cups 1-1/16” O.D. and a span (outside of cup to outside of cup) of 3-7/32”.

what exactly is the currie posi unit? what model or name does Currie call it?
Asked on 8/16/2011 9:56:18 AM by dan from silverlake ks
The Currie posi unit is called the Limited Slip differential and does not produce the annoying noise like the Powertrax or Detroit Lockers. It is a reproduction of the 4 spider gear units that Ford used in their rear ends. For specific questions you may want to visit with Currie direct. Their part number for example for a 31 spline rear end is 94088.

I am considering this product for street use in my 1966 Ford Fairlane. I am curious about the statement "for use in vehicles under 3000 lbs". I am not sure of the weight of my car, would this product be appropriate for my car?
Asked on 1/5/2012 5:26:37 AM by Ron from Amarillo Texas
Part number 91048345 This third member features components as good or better than factory 9” parts. Gears are from Pro Gear, bolts, hardware, and posi are Currie. These third members get used in a multitude of applications in vehicles over the 3000 pounds without any issues.
