You can't overhaul your Flathead without new gaskets. This overhaul gasket set is for 1939-48 Ford and Mercury V8 and comes complete with all the necessary gaskets and seals you need for a typical engine rebuild.
Includes modern composition head gaskets. The head gaskets will fit bores up to 3-3/16".

This Lokar engine dipstick for 1937-1953 Ford Flatheads mounts the same as an original but features a flexible braided stainless steel housing, billet aluminum handle and stainless hardware. WILL NOT clear Fenton cast iron headers.
NOTE: If your oil pan does not have threads at the very top of the tube opening, this dipstick assembly will not apply.
Highly recommended for all 1939-53 Flathead Ford/Mercury with aluminum heads. Flathead decks are thin and their threads are easily stripped. The outer end of these Grade 8 studs have fine threads and with the hardened washers (included) which prevent galling and ensure accurate torque readings.
Full set of head studs, nuts and washers for one engine. Specify year of engine: 1939-48 or 1949-53.
