I read about a person having some problem with mounting an intake manifold to these heads. I understand the intake runners are raised. Can you recommend a good low profile intake manifold and gasket combination?

These are standard 23 degree heads. They are not raised runner. Any stock SBC intake should work with these heads. Part #3252101 is a popular choice with gasket #3441205

These have a reinforced deck area and are quite substantial. We have had amazing success with them. We have had no reports of cooling deficiencies of any kind.

Are these heads compatible with 350 roller engines 1987-1993 with the roller cams? Also, can you run a high lift cam?

Yes this cylinder head can be used on a 1987 to 1993 engine block but you will need to use the early 1986 and older intake manifold. This is a bare cylinder head so you can certainly pair it with the proper components to work with a high lift roller camshaft.
