What's in the Box

It's getting harder to find flathead Ford clutch components. We can help you resolve this problem with our 10" Long-style pressure plates for the flathead V8. This pressure plate has a 6 bolt pattern divided up into 3 groups of 2 with a 3.125” center-to-center.

Pressure plate bolt pattern must match your flywheel!

Notes

  1. Will not work with transmission adapters 916-28912, 916-28914, 560-5272, or 560-5174. This pressure plate has external counterweights that interfere with these adapters.
  2. If your application requires the use of a large pressure plate along with one of these adapters, use pressure plate 910-15635 as it has the same bolt pattern as the 10" pressure plate but does not make use of the external counterweights. You can use a 10" disc with the 10-1/2" pressure plate 910-15635.

These fasteners play a key role in both the performance and safety of a vehicle. Will accept 10", 10.5" and 11" Ford (Long-style) and 10.5" Borg & Beck Diaphram pressure plates. Use 7/16" Chevy flywheel bolts to mount to crankshaft.

Get more performance and driveability out of your Ford Flathead V8 by hooking it up to a GM manual transmission! This adapter allows you to easily install a GM 3-, 4-, or even 5-speed transmission behind your 1932-1948 Ford or 1939-1950 Mercury Flathead V8 engine.

Permits use of your Ford clutch release shaft, fork and throwout bearing. Throwout bearing must be used with a Long-style pressure plate. Adapter kit includes pilot bushing.

This is a replacement clutch fork that fits 1932-1948 Ford 85 & 95 horsepower motors.  It will also work for 1932-52 Ford Pickup applications.  These clutch forks are used to engage the throwout bearing.
