Extinguishes rapidly with no residue using DuPont FE-36, which works as well as Halon. Approved by NASCAR, NHRA and has gone through SFI testing certification. Pull cable to extinguish fire. Class A, B & C fires. Unit is NOT rechargeable. 

Kit Contains:

  • Aluminum bottle, 18-1/4" tall x 5-1/4" diameter (15 lb. 4 oz.)
  • Anodized valve pressure gauge
  • Two nozzles
  • Control knob with 4 ft. cable
  • Hardware
  • 1/4" O.D. aluminum tubing

Overall a quality piece

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I purchased this as a direct replacement for the old system in my old Busch Grand National Stock car. My main reason was that the custom bracketry and mounting pieces were already in the car. The builder did a nice job with this and I wanted to reuse it. It was a bit expensive when compared to alternatives but it maintained the original integrity of my car.
