Made of cast aluminum with fins for heat dissipation. Not for use with stock spring. Works with '63-'82 Corvette rear axles.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The eight 7/16" mounting flange holes are not machined flat. Because this cover is so beefy, at the mounting flange holes the cast radius runs into the 7/16" bolt holes. So understand you may want to have these eight points machined. However, this is a very simple process for any machine shop. The rear of the cover makes for a great area if you were wanting to add a toe rod similar to a C4 design. Machine the rough cast flat and your good to go.
